Culinary Adventures Tours – Toronto Islands Edition
Nothing surprises me when Scott Savoie, owner and chef of Culinary Adventure tours, asks me to shoot his excursions. If i’m not photographing a decadent wine and cheese spread, or following a group of tourists carrying a pig through Kensington market on a scavengers hunt, I’m strapping on a life jacket to canoe to the island for some tasty treats.
This time, Culinary Adventure Tours took us by canoe to the Toronto Islands to enjoy a lovely waterside picnic. It was truly specular. Chef Shahir Massoud from Teatro cooked up a storm for the group – everything from Ontario and Quebec finest cheeses, lobster rolls, roasted tomato salad, beets and goat cheese mousse salad, to prosciutto wrapped chicken and pork tenderloin.
Here are some pictures from the trip!
